About Me

My name is Matthew Beatty and I’m the Director of Engineering at UpContent. Occasionally I have musings on tech strategy, tech management, software architecture, development process, or ways to model and understand the software development lifecycle and software businesses that I wanted to share with others in hopes some might find them useful so I decided to start this blog.

Also catalogued are my Open Source Projects.

I have been building a start up for the past six years, and been in the industry for well over a decade. While I don’t pretend to have all the answers, in fact that’s kinda the point to the name, I hope with my specific experience some of my musings, ideas, and projects might be useful to others.
